Laura and I drove out to Palm Springs to meet my Charlie and Heather, wedding clients for May 2011. Charlie and Heather are from L.A., and are having their wedding in Indian Wells at the IW Club. But they wanted their engagement portraits taken at the stylish new Escena Golf Club in Palm Springs, CA.Besides its modern clubhouse there's not much to see at Escena. But the clubhouse and its striking desert landscaping was all we needed to shoot some terrific portraits. Even the cloudy skies turned out colorfully as the sun set behind the mountain.
